I am the Director of Basketball Research and Development for the Chicago Bulls. In this role, I develop and manage the organization’s basketball analytics infrastructure, including data pipelines, databases, automated reporting systems, and decision-support tools used across basketball operations. I work closely with executives, scouts, coaches, and performance staff to support player evaluation, roster construction, game strategy, and long term organizational planning.
Prior to joining the Bulls, I spent four seasons with the Dallas Mavericks as a Data Engineer in Basketball Operations, where I developed and maintained data systems integrating information from a wide range of basketball data providers and internal sources.
Earlier in my career, I collaborated with BBall-Index, developing R Shiny applications for NBA player and team analysis, and worked with Soccerment in Milan, Italy, helping communicate soccer analytics concepts to a broader audience. I hold a Master’s degree in Data Science from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and remain passionate about applying data and technology to competitive decision making in professional sports.
Outside of work, I enjoy following Galatasaray, exploring Chicago’s food scene, and collecting sneakers.
